The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Philippine Normal University (PNU) and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) was held at the Office of the President of PNU on September 24, 2019. The event signifies the collaboration of the two in conferences, research publication opportunities and academic exchange as stipulated in the signed MOU. Present during the signing were the officials from PNU, Dr. Ma. Antoinette C. Montealegre (Officer in Charge of the Office of the President), Dr. Rosemarievic V. Diaz (Vice President for Research, Planning & Quality Assurance), Dr. Zenaida Q. Reyes (Vice President for University Relations and Advancement), and Dr. Marie Paz E. Morales (Director of Publications Office) and the officials from PUP, Dr. Anna Ruby P. Gapasin (Vice President for Research, Extension and Development [VPRED]), Dr. Jackie D. Urrutia (Director, Research Management Office), Prof. Randy D. Sagun, (Chief of Research Support Center), Dr. Zandro T. Estela (Director of Extension Management Office), Dr. Cleotilde L. Crescini and Prof. Hazel DR. Samala (Faculty Researchers).
